Brian entered his Oatmeal Stout in the Frederick County Fair mainly to get feedback. Well, he won "Best of Show" out of 119 entrants for his Oatmeal Stout. It gets better, he gets to brew his beer at a local brewery, Brewer's Alley in Frederick. This is such an honor! He will be brewing it on January 14th with the Brewmaster and then it will be going on tap about a month later. Brian gave the Brewmaster one of his Belgian Dubbels to taste and Tom said that it is better than alot of the beers he has had from Belgium. He told Brian that it would have won "Best of Show" had he entered that one.
Brian is being handed his award by the owner of Brewer's Alley.
