Christmas 2007

We had a wonderful Christmas this year. We could really talk to the kids about the meaning and they understood somewhat. We were trying to emphasize that Christmas is about Christ and not the presents. It was so endearing to hear the two of them reminding each other of this on several occasions. We went to see the National Tree and ate at Johnny Rockets on Christmas Day. It was great to go there and it wasn't too cold that day either. What a joy to be together and celebrate Christ's birth!

Cookie Delivery Crew

We baked cookies and brownies for our neighbors! I didn't really have enough for all that I would have like to give out, but we made do. It took alot longer for the task of baking, packaging and preparing cards than I had anticipated. The kids enjoyed going up to the doors and telling everyone Merry Christmas! We have some great neighbors and it was good to get out and see everyone! We just wanted to share some of God's love with those around us.
